Prospect Park

Prospect Park is a township-owned site with 29 naturally wooded acres of land located at the intersection of Shrewsbury Drive and Laurel Avenue.

The park opened in October, 2010 with shared hiking and mountain biking trails and is accessible daily from dawn to dusk. There is approximately two miles of hiking/biking trails with a quarter-mile handicapped access trail.

A parking area can accommodate up to ten cars; overflow parking is available on Shrewsbury Drive.

Parts of the Lenape Trail (also called the Liberty WaterGap Trail) wind through Prospect Park. The nature trails have boardwalks to protect environmentally sensitive areas and also contain educational components including tree identifiers.

Dogs allowed on leash

Park closes at sunset or as otherwise announced
