The Livingston Citizens’ Institute offers free, enjoyable, and interactive programs for Livingston residents who want to know more about their town and contribute to building an even stronger community.
When you attend Citizens’ Institute programs, you meet people from all parts of our community, hear from local officials and township department heads, get an insider’s view of how our town operates, and share ideas for making our community even better.
Here’s what several past participants said:
“It made me feel a part of things.”
“I met people I would never have met otherwise.”
“I learned more about our town from these programs than I had in the previous fifteen years of living here.”
The programs for 2016 offer a wide choice of topics–from skill-building, to information about township operations, to behind-the-scenes visits to sites in town. Registrants should plan to attend the kick-off program on January 28, the concluding program on April 6, and as many of the other programs and site visits as their schedules allow.
