March into National Nutrition Month!
In honor of National Nutrition month the Nursing Division of the Livingston Health Department is offering two no cost events! On Thursday March 2nd 2017, from 10:30 am-11:30am, Dr. Campanile will be hosting a discussion on “What should we Eat?” This Brunch and Learn will offer light fare and refreshments while learning about best practices for optimal nutrition and longevity. Please call at least two days in advance to register for the Brunch and Learn. The second event is a Nutrition Table on Thursday March 9, 2017 at the Senior/Community Center located at 204 Hillside Ave, Livingston, NJ. The nutrition table will be set up in the lower level between the hours of 10am and 12pm. Come try some new tasty and healthy snacks offered locally from Elle Bernardo, RD of Livingston’s ShopRite. Also, take advantage of a complimentary blood pressure screening and make sure to ask about the Livingston Health Fair 2017! The Livingston Health Fair 2017 will be offering FREE multi-system screening happening at the same location the following month on Wednesday April 5th 2017 from 8:30am to 11:30 am! Keeping our residents healthy and happy is a priority for the Livingston Health Department and it’s Nursing Division; so come one, come all to have some brunch, try some FREE tasty treats and hear more about what the Health Department is offering to help you become a healthier and happier you this March!
