OCTOBER IS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

OCTOBER IS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month. This means throughout the month of October you will find different events, educational activities, and fundraisers available for you to come out and show your support.  Male or female Breast Cancer can directly affect you and/or your loves ones.  During the month of October the Livingston Health Department is hosting an open event to support Breast Cancer awareness.  Whether you choose to support the fight against breast cancer quietly and introspectively, wear pink every chance you get, or support the fight loud and proud, the Livingston Health Department has an event for you!  At our “Remembrance Ribbon Ceremony” on October 6th we take time to honor and reflect while placing a pink ribbon at town hall to show unity and support.  RWJ/Barnabas Medical Center and the Livingston Nursing Division will also be attending as well as to educate, empower, and reaffirm our fight for breast health against cancer. We look forward to seeing you there and don’t forget to wear pink!
