Influenza: The “Flu”

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends vaccination as the safest and most effective way to prevent flu.

Prevention: Everyone 6 months and older should receive an annual flu vaccine.

Symptoms & Diagnosis: Flu can cause mild to severe illness; learn the symptoms.

Treatment:  Antiviral drugs may be a treatment option.

People at High Risk:  Understand who is as higher risk from flu.
