Family Festival Day at the Oval, which is a community-wide celebration and a key event during Youth Appreciation Week, is scheduled for Saturday, May 20, 2017, from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.  The event offers many family friendly activities including pony rides, a petting zoo, craft tents, face painters, a giant blow-up obstacle course and slides, fire trucks, adopt-a-pet, and a chalk walk, among others.  The Family Festival ends in the evening with a Movie under the Stars.

10:00 – 3:00 pm: Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, Face Painters, DJ, Crafts Corner, Fire Trucks and Ambulance, Force Homestead, Police Dept IDs, Public Works Trucks, LMAC & Livingston Animal Shelter Committee,  Balloon Maker, Robotics Club Exhibition, The Food Day tent featuring  Healthy nutrition; Community Gardening and Recycle tips; New World Manga, Maurice Blow up Slides and a lot more…

10am-2pm Super kids Olympics by Livingston Young Families Club.

4:00 – 8:00 pm: Town Camp Out all Livingston families are invited to bring their tents and camp out under the stars! Boy Scout Troops 12 & 16 along with Cub Scout Pack 16 will be leading the evening’s events to include:
– 4:00 – 5:30 pm Tent set-up
– 5:30 – 7:30 pm Scout group games for kids including classics like Tug-of-War, Water Balloon Slingshot and Silent Speedball!
– 7:30 pm Camp fire! The Scouts will light the fire and put on a routine of skits for all to see!
– Refreshments will be sold on-site throughout the evening
Families are invited to spend the night at The Oval in their tents
Please pre-register online: and register through CommunityPass under “Youth Appreciation Week 2017.” Pre-registration is not mandatory, but it does help us properly prepare for the event. All are welcome!
