Cpl. William J. Brennan

The Livingston Police Department regrettably announces the untimely passing of Corporal William J. Brennan. Corporal Brennan was a police officer with this department for the past 36 years. On March 30th, 1979, he was assigned as a Chanceman and quickly was appointed to the position of a full time Police Officer on November 1st, 1980. He was promoted to the rank of Corporal in 1999. Throughout his years, Corporal Brennan was the consummate professional. He can be credited with the implementation of Project Lifesaver for the Township of Livingston. He was awarded numerous commendations and awards by both the Livingston Police and the State P.B.A. Corporal Brennan was the state delegate for local #263 of the P.B.A. for over 20 years and in that time amassed a world of knowledge and friends one the likes of can never be duplicated. Corporal William J. Brennan known for his uncanny way of remembering people’s names and faces will be forever remembered by the many people he impacted and befriended.
