LPD to host “Coffee with a Cop” event

The Livingston Police Department is inviting residents to join members of the department for a free cup of coffee and some conversation. On Wednesday, October 4th, the department will host their fourth Coffee with a Cop event at the new Starbucks at 288 Eisenhower Parkway from 3:00-4:30 p.m. The department will be joining hundreds of other departments in celebrating “National Coffee with a Cop Day”. The national initiative is an informal way for people to meet with police officers to discuss community issues, build relationships and drink coffee. There will be no agenda or speeches, just a chance to ask questions, voice concerns, and get to know the officers that patrol your neighborhood. The motto of the program is “Building relationships. One cup at a time.”

For questions, contact Officer Kevin Mullaney at (973) 992-3000 extension #3251 or kmullaney@livingstonnj.org.
