Electronics Recycling Events 

Please note that recycling of used electronics is mandatory.
Electronics may not be put out at the curb with standard or bulk trash or other recycling items.

REMINDER:  Wipe out your data before recycling your computers and smart devices! (Instructions for clearing data from devices can be easily found online.)

The 2017 Electronics Recycling & Paper Shredding Events are for Livingston residents only.

The final event for 2017 will be held at the Senior/Community Center Rear Parking Lot, 204 Hillside Avenue, 9 AM – 2 PM on the following date:

Saturday, October 7, 2017

Paper Shredding — Up to 5 boxes per family will be accepted at the Recycling Event.

Early Drop Off — Only electronics (no confidential papers to be shredded) can be dropped off in advance of each Electronics Recycling Event inside the Senior/Community Center, on a self-serve basis. Information about dates and location will be provided prior to the event date.

The Essex County Utilities Authority also hosts 2 Electronics Recycling events per year. Check their website for more information.

Note:  Essex County residents who are unable to bring electronic items to the Livingston or County-sponsored Electronics Recycling Events can deliver their items free of charge to:
